CONNECT EQUIPMENT TO OPERATIONS

RFID asset tracking

Identify tagged equipment with a compatible RFID handheld reader. ZOVYX connects scans with asset records to support equipment identification and physical inventory checks across locations. Reader compatibility, tag selection and the operating environment are assessed as part of your implementation.

Getting started

  1. Define the equipment, locations and identification requirements.
  2. Prepare asset records and pair compatible RFID tags.
  3. Scan equipment and review the associated asset information.

Can RFID and barcodes work together?

Yes. They serve different identification workflows. We will review your equipment and scanning requirements to help determine a suitable combination.

UNDERSTAND THE WORKFLOW

What does RFID asset tracking tell you?

RFID asset tracking links a tag read by a compatible scanner to an equipment record. A scan helps identify which asset was checked; its recorded location and history provide context. A handheld stock-take scan does not, by itself, provide continuous real-time positioning.

What should you prepare?

  1. Prepare a unique asset identifier and tag association.
  2. Check tag suitability for the equipment material and environment.
  3. Test reader compatibility and scanning coverage before rollout.
